If I needed to spend a month ice climbing in Antarctica, this would be the jacket I would bring. If I had to wrestle a polar bear in 15 below weather, this would be the jacket I would want on. I was told the Alchemy was the top of the line soft shell and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Every pocket, lining, zipper is quality and it looks great too. Just got back from skiing Vail. I wore a long sleave and this jacket and that was all I needed.
