Gear Review
Great when Gore-Tex isn't
By Matthew Johnson
Ranked #2311 - Men's Softshell Jackets
April 6, 2007
Fritz, the ready mix isn't a rain jacket and isn't intended to stand up to a downpour. It has a DWR coating but it's meant for activities where you're more worried about breathability than waterproofing- when you need a shell but a traditional 3 layer gtx or similar shell is going to turn into a sauna. You should have read up on what you were buying and its intended usage before you clicked "buy"
