Gregory Reality

Ranked #1894 - Weekend Packs (3000-4500 cu in)
October 28, 2003
The new Gregory Reality pack worked just great on a recent 4 day trek in Grand Canyon. I found it very comfortable (particularly the lumbar support), functional (I can reach the Nalgenes in the side pockets!), and sturdy (i was at +/- 45 lbs.). I bought a 4300 cu. in., which is just about right for a 4-day hike. It could use a few more external storage compartments, but a couple of side pack accessories should take care of that. This was only one hike so it remains to be seen how durable it is. But for right now, I'm very pleased with the purchase. I can't wait for the next trip.
