Just spent 4 rather warm days skiing these pants in Salt Lake City. They kept me warm in the morning and cool in the afternoon. The only gripe I have is that they elastic in the waist is too soft. You need a belt or suspenders to keep them from falling around your knees. :) The cargo pocket on the right leg is so handy for things like a wallet and other small items. All in all a great buy. Wish I had another pair.
