Having just purchased the men's tights from CW-X, I have to admit that they were certainly warm on a cold Vermont weekend skiing, but to suggest that my leg muscles felt better would be a reach at best.
Not quite sure how much a compression pant would do at the start, I can't say that they made any difference at all.
And at the price being asked at any store, I don't think they are a great value. I will however use them to see if over time, I fall in love with them.
