Gear Review
Nice and Warm for the Outdoorsy Girl

Ranked #3948 - Women's Down Jackets
January 8, 2007
I wore this jacket when I was skiing in Austria where it was about 10-25 F (depending on where I was on the mountains). Under the jacket, I had a thin fleece jacket and cold gear. I was so warm that I had the pitzips fully open the whole time I was skiing. This jacket also has a pass pocket, little clip for the cord of your mp3 player, and the hood is suppose to be helmet compatible (my head is a little longer than average, so this isn't a surprise). This jacket isn't elegant like other Spyder jackets, but definitely has all the functionality at a more affordable cost. If you don't like wearing a lot of layers while skiing/snowboarding, this may be a good jacket for you.
