Mount it up

The carrier is easier to assemble than IKEA furniture. I'm using the Hitch Ski Carrier with the Thule Spare Me Spare Tire Mount on a 1998 Jeep Wrangler. The ski carrier fits snugly on the Mount but is slightly off center. It's not going anywhere but if it fit a bit more flush I'd like it even better.

I have a 99 wrangler and was trying to find a ski rack for it. I planned on buying the spare me bike rack for the back tire and then doing the same thing you did in buying the hitch ski carrier. I was wondering how well it went together. you said it was a little off center. Does that affect the skis at all? Also have you found anything different that has been more useful?
