Warm but CAN rub wrong

I'm only giving these boots 4 stars because if you don't wear LONG thick socks that come up very high and don't fall down, the edges of the boot and the tag on the tongue can rub the wrong way against the skin. That, and when the shoe bends while walking (the natural crease shoes get above the toes) it can push down on top of the foot. It doesn't hurt, but it's annoying. ...but that tends to happen with snow boots... so it's almost unavoidable. They're VERY WARM and my feet stay dry. Overall, I'm very glad I bought them. They're great not only for kids, but also for Women who wear size 8 or smaller.
