I bought this jacket before I left for a trip to Tibet. It performed well as a versatile outer layer when trekking 17,000-foot passes. It is the perfect outer layer for blocking wind, rain and holding in heat. Additionally, the long pit zips allowed me to blow off steam without removing the jacket. The best feature is the headband-like adjustable elastic hood draw. Makes the hood fit like a hat and keeps periferal visions in tact. I lost my original one and purchased it again at your site. Thats how much I love this shell. I shopped the other brands. I think it is the best on the market.
