Bionic Thermal is > than Denali Jacket

Ive been wearing the North Face Denali Jacket for two winters and have been very unsatisfied by the lack of protection from the elements. Every time the wind hits the Denali Jacket I can feel it cutting through me. I got the Denali as a gift and figured it was the best jacket for the winter here in Michigan because everybody has one. I was wrong!
I wanted a soft shell jacket that wouldnt be to bulky to wear and a jacket that could stop the wind and rain (or at least resist some of it). The local ski shops recommend that I should buy the North Face Bionic Thermal Apex jacket; its about the same price as the Denali and offers much more protection.
The great thing about this jacket is it has an adjustable cord on both side of the jacket, and on the sleeves for a better fit. I bought the jacket in solid black color (Graphite Gray/Black) and so far its been holding up in temperatures of 28 degree with rain, sleet and wind. This jacket is constructed very well and the black color looks very sleek. I also like the look of the material on the Bionic better than the fleece of the Denali. The jacket is roomy enough to wear more layers of clothing underneath to trap in more heat if older days.
