i need comfort

I don't know about you, but when I put on a hiking shoe, I want the immediate reaction to be ahhhh! This shoe felt stiff and uncomfortable and without any squishiness on the sole. I sent them back immediately. Outside the shoe looked great, nice style and good tread - but I want my feet to feel good. And I wasn't going to wait for any "break in period." Sorry but that's my review...for what it's worth.
