Gear Review
Damn good boot for the money

Ranked #86 - Men's Backpacking Boots
September 18, 2006
Tried on many, many different styles and brands before settling on these. Can't beat the looks, not that it matters much in the outback, but hey, it's better than looking like a circus sideshow. The boots broke in completely in about 5 miles. Waterproof is an understatement, they are fantastic. Heels are a bit loose, but I give Montrail a big thumbs up for their website (alternate lacings). After re-tying using their methods, no problems at all. I'd recommend this to anyone who has a limited budget but still wants quality.
