The North Face Catalyst 60

Ranked #2010 - Weekend Packs (3000-4500 cu in)
August 9, 2006
I have been a avid backpacker for over 25 years. Most of that time was with an external frame pack, so this was my first experience with an internal frame pack. I must say that I was some surprised at the difference. After some time getting used to all the fine tuning adjustments of the Catalyst 60, I found it to be most useful and comfortable. The most surprising thing was the Pivital Suspension System, which makes moving with the loaded pack a real joy. All in all I find it to be a very comfy and useful pack! Highly recommend! Well worth the money! Thanks, Deane
