Simple - Lightweight – Super fast to put into action. Together - Best feature: - cm markings on entire probe - extra split markings. As an New Zealand outdoor alpine instructor and personal alpinist this prove it self totally useful on Mt Cook - possibly could be more lighter - cheaper is always good. But overall quality is excellent.
