Poor installation instructions

I just purchased my first kayak (after borrowing/trying out others from friends). My first "accessory" was the Harmony fishing kit. I asked the salesperson "HOW" the rod holder was positioned, etc. He said that a picture should be included. Well, the picture is a Xerox of gray objects, which look more like a couple of cells from a microscope. Until there is clarity, I'll be darned if I'm going drill that 2-1/2" hole in my kayak! Lucky for the fish, huh? If Harmony wants to send me a real photo, I'd be a VERY happy new kayak owner, and new Harmony customer. Thanks.
