Western Mountaineering MegaLite Sleeping Bag: 30 Degree Down

Item #WES0042 | 14 in Stock
5 Star Rating

Best bag I've ever owned, so far....

By Ranked #649 - 55 to 30 Degree Down Bags April 24, 2006

I could count the number of down sleeping bags I've owned since 1971 on one hand and still have change.

An REI McKinley, a SnowLion (best name in the world), a Marmot Pinnacle, and now a Western Mountaineering Megalite.

I'm big, sleep warm, and getting old and decrepit, so I need a lightweight sleeping bag that had a full zip and tons of shoulder space. The Megalite fits the bill perfectly.

Construction was amazing and you could squeeze this mother into something smaller than a bread box. Its first trip was a soggy weekend on Catalina Island and I'm looking forward to numerous Sierra treks with the lightest bag I've owned. It’s well worth the extra bit of green this sleeping bag costs.
