Gear Review
The North Face Caber Hybrid Pants
By Greg Thompson

I bought a pair of industry blue colored pants 2 years ago and have had great success with them while climbing in the ice gullies of Mt. Washington, New Hampshire. I just recently purchased a black colored pair and used them 3 weeks ago at Frankenstein cliffs. The pants performed magnificently. They are warm (with light insulated underwear), they stand up to abrasion very well, breathe well, and seem to be water repellent. One of the main things I enjoy about them is the internal gaiter which saves me from having to wear an external gaiter which with me causes a lot of heat build-up and condensation.
