I have been skiing the 1st generation World Piste. Wanted something fatter and with more oomph for the crud we ski in the Cascades. I am fairly short and light. I bought the 172cm ski. I decided against the Jak BC because on a test drive it didn't hold an edge as well on the groomed. The Jak turned out to be a fabulous ski. I have ten days in on them. They are a true all-mountain ski. They handle crud well, have a decent edge on hard-pack, and they float and turn well in powder. Huge sweet spot. Feels like they do the skiing and all I have to do is keep up. Have not yet tried touring with them. Can't wait.
