Koala zipper chafing

I read the review of the Eagle Creek Koala having zipper chafing problems. I guess if I was always on the go and always using it, I would apply some mole skin or duct tape to the fabric to protect against chafing. I really like the compact design this unit affords you vs a duffle style that takes up more room. I like to travel light and not check luggage.
