Comfort increased but so is size and weight of bag

The expander panel improves the comfort factor on cold nights where limbs hanging out of the bag would freeze. I'm 6'5", and I can now sleep comfortably moving my knees wherever I want with the bag fully zipped up. But, this already bulky synthetic bag now barely fits into my 6000cu in backpack. I am exaggerating, but this bag and panel combination is definitely not "light and fast". For summer use I will remove the panel and continue sleeping with one leg out of the bag.
