Ranked #1535 - Weekend Packs (3000-4500 cu in)
February 24, 2006
I agree with the other review; this pack was a replacement for the GoLite Jam, the Jam being a fine pack for solo overnighters. But the Virga, packed properly with my base weight of 9-10 pounds carries so softly and comfy. I use a BA air core pad as the "framesheet" and pack softer items toward the back. Works for climbing, its water resistant and it holds up to the Southwest's gnarly cat claw and cacti. This pack is light enough to stow into a larger pack for use as a daypack or explorer pack. Im very happy!
