Powder Weapon
By Erendira
Ranked #1229 - Telemark Skis and Alpine Touring Skis
January 13, 2006
The Janak performs as well in powder and crud as the (extremely heavy) Dynastar Pro Rider but weighs much less and is therefore much more appropriate for touring. It's also a stiff ski that holds very well on frozen or boilerplate conditions. All in all, it's an ideal backcountry ski for locations with lots of snow, like the Wasatch.
