Being from Texas, I needed a new jacket to keep me warm in my winter Utah home. This TNF masterpiece is lightweight yet keeps me warm and toasty with zero complaints. Even without a shell, it has proven to be an excellent purchase for daily wear during the work week with zero complaints. Amazingly thin, nice lines, female cut—not too long, not too short—it’s just right. The Redpoint Optimus has the hood and the regular Optimus doesn't, the difference is having the having the option to keep your head protected from the elements or styling with a classic collar.
