The MSR OutfitterWing is a quality product. After using it over a two week car camping trip in the Smokey Mountains I feel the high purchase cost can be justified or made up in longevity of use (meaning the quality in materials should stand the test). The wing proves versatile in the different ways to configure it. I would recommend that one also should purchase adjustable poles to go along with this wing. In fact MSR should recommend the same if not provide them as an option. At least four poles of at least 7 foot are required to prop the sides up to a reasonable height, otherwise the angle of the sides makes it only possible to stand in the middle. Adjustable poles allow one to then lower a side or two if the rain is heavy, providing more shelter and run-off. I enjoyed having this piece of equipment with me as you should to.
