Daggar Blackwater 11.5 on Whitewater
By Dennis Maley
Ranked #1190 - Kayaks

Versatile kayak especially as its name represents on Blackwater. We have a little trouble on Whitewater though. Maneuvering is especially difficult since you don't want your scag down with surface rocks and without your scag the kayak will turn on you when youre trying to head in a particular direction through white water. Also, the hole fills up with water easily. We have skirts but forgot them both times we went whitewater so our mistake. I think if you are to use the Blackwater in whitewater, do yourself a favor and get a skirt. We've been using the scag in white water hoping not to do any damage and so far so good.
