Don't Leave Home without It

The Precip is on my "must have" list for any winter run, any mountain hike, and for any long endurance race. I KNOW it will perform. I've tried other jackets, but still go back to the precip I find it to be the best balance between real waterproof protection and lightweight packability.. there are lighter jackets out there, but they are not waterproof. The precip will fold up easily and tie on the back of my pack, and it has performed well in warm summer downpours and sub-freezing winter outings in snow and hail and sleet. I am 5'2" and the medium size is not too big, but allows me to put this on over a hydration pack if I need to. the chin guard is not scratchy and the hood stays in place. For the price, you simply can't find a better lightweight rain jacket...
