Super convenient with the accordion style folds. The Z Lite is just that—light. It works well in frameless UL packs as a foam framesheet, insulates well in cold weather, and is made of seemingly durable materials. No worries about deflation like with air mattresses, but not as comfortable. As with anything there are tradeoffs, but this is a good staple item. It can be cumbersome to pack, yet since it folds up cleanly it makes for easy lashing to the outside of a pack.
