Ranked #291 - Men's Ski Jackets
January 26, 2012
With a name like snowtastic, I assumed that this jacket was helmet compatible. After all, according to MH it's "Totally waterproof, breathable softshell loaded with ski features". So I purchased on via pro deal which means no returns if you've worn it. To top it off, the collar is terrible. Unless the hood is up, the collar bunches up and won't cover up your chin, leaving you no place to hide from the weather. In terms a durability, one of my lower pocket zipper pulls must have gotten caught on a tree or something, and it pulled off an ripped a two inch gash in the bottom of the jacket.
I called MH to see about a replacement and their comments were. "we won't replace it just because it's not helmet compatible", and "you can send it in to be repaired for a nominal charge". So even after getting the jacket for half price via pro deal, I still feel ripped off.
