Gear Review
Down is warm and shell it durable

Ranked #242 - Men's Down Jackets
January 24, 2012
Tried this out yesterday riding at Breckenridge, rode all day in 15 degree temps with 55mph wind gusts and kept my core warm on the lift and all I had under it was a T-shirt. I liked this jacket because I wanted a down jacket for colder temps and a tougher outer shell material incase I snag it on some branches. I'm 6'3 185 lbs with long arms so I got an XL. Arms and length are great but stomach mid region is a little loose but will be good if I decide to wear a mid layer when camping or when I go out in colder temps. I wish the powder skirt was a little tighter but it is an XL. I also wish they put screens on the inside of the pit zips to help snow from coming in if I take a fall. A removeable hood would be nice too but the hood is warm when I take my helmet off.
