Matt, all these waterproof jackets need a bit of care to perform (sorta like a Ferrari) Make sure to wash it regularly in tech wash, like Granger's or NikWax (not regular laundry detergent) and dry it for about 25 minutes on med. heat. The was removes oil and dirt that attract dirt and clog breather pores, and the heat resets the water repellant. You can also re-treat the DWR with a spray-on, and then put it in the dryer.

Matthew, my jacket is almost 2 years old with frequent use and still beads water like a duck. Maybe you should give it another DWR coating.
