In the late summer and fall, I wear it alone as a light down sweater, in the winter I wear it under my shell for extra warmth. It is crazy light has a great cut and looks good all by itself. I have had it for over a year and have had now issues with leakage. It isn't the warmest jacket, it is light lightest. That is sorta the point.
