I've tried these boots on several times but haven't actually ridden in them, so let me just say that. I think the boa system is awesome and you're very much set on it being secure. These boots are soft in the soles and they are super light and low profile compared to many other boots. The reason why i didn't go with them is because no matter how tight i made the lower portion of the system, my ankle would still have room to slide out and move around. So I went with something else. Again, I never rode with them, but right from the get go it didn't feel good.

Same thing happened to me! I bought these and bought a pair of burton ambushes. I returned the judges. (Although the white and grey judges looked sick!).
