I got my Kelty Redwing 50 about 5 months ago and have used it as a carry on bag for a four day trip, backpacking and am taking on a trip to Mt. Washington. For being a 50L pack it carries a surprising amount of stuff if you pack it efficiently. Placement of the compression straps is great hip belt is more than comfortable and the cargo loops and daisy chain are more than helpful for carrying trekking poles, ice axes or a snowboard. The only gripe I have is that the clavicle strap sits a bit low and Kelty hasn't seen fit to include pockets on the hip belt. Great bag over all.
