These are the latest boots I have bought in a long line of buying lasportiva boots for years. I do this with every new lasportiva boots... warmed the boots by the wood stove an applied severe coats nix wax leather cream once the boots are warm hand rub the cream into all the leather and it really made them soft and water proof. Spen the next few weeks wearing the boots around the house like there slippers. I finly wore the boots out side for a light 6 mile hike and am very pleased with how they feel and are very comfortable no blisters or soreness feel good on my wide feet and have broken in well
