These shoes not only look great, but they offer superb traction in both mud and snow. They are a little treacherous over wet granite, but other than that I feel solidly planted. On the way home, they also worked well when I had to push a stuck car up a snow covered ramp. While everyone else was on their face, I was able to get the poor guy on his way home. Great trail shoe.
