Sizing is accurate, mitten is so-so

Sizing for the spider cubby mitten is better than their "over-web glove." Ordered a large and xl in mini sizing. Both fit true to size chart, L fits my small 7 1/2 year old, XL fits my average 9 year old (just). At least on this product Spyder adjusts the length for each size.
The mitten is OK, very easy to get in/out of if you are dressing a younger child. Velcro is strong, so the sides stay attached, but I'm disappointed that there is no cinch for the gauntlet to snug it down over the jacket. Might be better if you can snug the jacket over the mitten. Again, the gauntlet is a bit short at 2.5" like Spyder's gloves, would love to see a 3+ inch gauntlet. The wrist strap does adjust to keep mitten in place on hand. Otherwise nicely made, good quality materials.
*Note: Picture is inaccurate. Shows a mitten with one zipper in gauntlet. Mitten actually has two side openings that close with Velcro in the gauntlet, no zipper.
