Gear Review
Durability does not match price

Ranked #324 - Men's Ski Jackets
January 11, 2012
I have owned this jacket for one year and there are already holes in the shell. Backcountry has been no help and told me to contact Norrona. Norrona refuses to pay for the repair of the jacket and attributes these holes use.
Its a ski jacket and should be designed to hold up under skiing use for more than one season priced close to $500 retail.
I'll be taking my business to another retailer and outerwear company who support their customers and products and so should you.

I agree with the two comments above: Backcountry.com has one of the best support policies that I have ever seen (on par with great service companies like Nordstroms). Although your claims may be valid, in my years of using backcountry.com (I have been a loyal customer for around 10 years), I have always had amazing service and hassle-free returns for all of my purchases at Backcountry.com.

I love Backcountry.com because this site is best in all aspects. Fast shipping, kind customer service, unquestional return or exchange service, etc. It is hard to believe that they told you to contact Norrona directly.

Uh, BC.com has a no questions asked lifetime warranty/return policy, so either you've horribly misunderstood something or you're full of it. Return the coat.
