Blue gloves and hands for how long ?

Great gloves, warm, allow easy grip of the poles. But with the first wet day, I got my hands blue... Hope it was just for the first time and will not happen every time. Also, not sure how long the gloves will keep that nice blue color.... Let's wait the end of the season.
