Looks Good but...

By Ranked #31 - Women's Trail Run Shoes December 29, 2011

I have a narrow foot with higher arch and like cushion and support for my foot. I like the wider footbox with a bit of toe room in case of swelling feet. I did find the arch to be too far back(like other have mentioned). You could replace the insole. I find my feet tire after 10km in the shoe as is. You will feel the rocks underneath. Works great in mud but not so great on slick rocks or wet wood or wet pavement or icy anything. The grips and treads look amazing but are soft and compresses turning it into more of a skate on certain surfaces.. especially on the wet(West) Coast(slippery roots BAAADDDD!). A lot of the tread seems to be geared for uphill and not so great for going down hill. If your just doing basic trail running over well groomed routes(compact gravel or track etc), it shouldn't be a problem. It's a nice light shoe but it take a while to dry out. Don't believe what the bottom "gryptonite" implies and test your surfaces first. I have had these shoes for aprox 6 months with light use (15-20km a week) and the treads are showing a decent amount of wear (mostly from road use).. Don't spend too much money buying these shoes and don't expect amazement from them. They do look good though and they will get you from point A - point B. I love but hate this shoe all at once.
