hard to fully judge my new marmot until I hit cottonwood canyon in feb-12, but love everything about it thus far. i am typically between l and xl, and this xl fits well.....loose enough to wear a base and vest comfortably underneath and still allow good movement, but not too sloppy. my first experience with marmot membrain (vs goretex) has been good.... breathable, yet watertight and wind resistant. ease of opening "pit zips" is ok, seal is great closed. hoping for pow in alta to test further......love the red color/contrast
