I could probably have went with a Large, but I wanted to layer these so I exchanged for an Extra Large. Also, I am 6'0" and I ended up needing the short length. These are lightweight and perfect for stowing in a pack. My gf wrapped them for Christmas and she was able to easily get them into such a tiny package I'd have never guessed there were pants inside. She also got me the Jacket and they go great together. Impressed.
