So disappointed with these shoes

I purchased a pair of MoabGore-Tex XCR shoes three and a half months ago. I am an outdoor educator so I wear them every day for working and hiking with students. I am very upset and disappointed in the quality of these shoes- they have not held up to the task at all!

The outside portion of the shoes have already ripped off and the sole is separating from the top of the shoe. I do a lot of outdoor activities but this is ridiculous! I've had a pair of basketball shoes hold up way longer and under more strenuous use. The waterproofing is now useless as water seeps in at the bottom.

This is my first Merrell purchase and will most likely be my last given the poor quality. The company came highly recommended by my coworkers but I have my doubts now.
