Hard plastic equals blisters

These boots fit my feet well yet every time I ski in them I end up with large blisters around my heels. I suspect this is because the "plastic" heel cup that is supposed to lock in your heel actually creates a rub point. The support on the top of the toe box also extends quite far back and will dig into the top of your foot. I used to love cross country skiing and now I'm stressed about getting blisters the next time I go out. Very disappointed.
