Not the Same as they used to be...

I have bee wearing Sorel Caribous for 30 years. They are a mainstay in my wardrobe here in Telluride, Colorado. One of my secret pleasures is getting a new pair, I recently received a pair and couldn't get them on since the liner was so tightly sewn together all the way to the top with some material with very little stretch, also the liner was a lot thinner than my old ones. Then I compared the boot sole to sole with my old boot and these were wider and an 1 1/2" longer. I realize the boots are made in China now and not Canada and I do appreciate the new styles Sorel has come out with - I just miss my old Sorels with the thick liners, lug soles and snug fit. Unfortunately I am returning these and looking for some on Ebay from canada!!
