Awesome shoe, right out of the box!

This is my new favorite shoe. I refer to them as my Karl Meltzer shoes. Due to other reviews, I ordered 2 in my "normal" trail shoe sizes (men's 7.5/women's 9). Both usually read 40.5. But the men's 7.5 came in 40 eu, while the women's 9 came as a 40.5 eu. The larger size fit awesome. I wore them on the next 3 consecutive day's runs: an 8, a 5 and an 11 miler, all trail, all with loads of up & down hill. The shoe was awesome. Lighter but just as sturdy as my prior trail shoe (Vasque mindbender & Mercury). I'm ordering several more pair. I have a wider metatarsal/forefoot and a normal height arch & heel.
