I took a trip to The North Face store here in Portland, OR and ran into the same issue. The jacket fit fine, and had a decent amount of down, but the feathers were poking out along the seams quite a bit. Looking at the other jackets on the rack it seemed to be a common problem. I suspect the feather to down ration in this jacket is a bit higher than most, in the feathers favor. For this reason the harder feathers are causing down to leak out. I would check out something offered by Marmot, Mountain Hardwear, or Patagonia instead.
