I'm usually a 5.5 - 6.0. Being winter boots that might be worn w/ thicker socks, I ordered a 6. Ouch!! With just regular socks they were sooooo tight!! And the stiffness is very true too... you almost walk like a penguin. Very warm though, that's probably the only +. I'm going to return these in exchange for The North Face McMurdo II. They seem to have very positive reviews for prior year models, so hopefully I will get lucky w/ them!
