Just got this jacket today and I'm returning it immediately. Believe me, the picture doesn't do it justice - it looks like a substantial down jacket in the photo, but this is about the thinnest and cheesiest piece of... stuff I've seen in awhile. Been a while since I've purchased North Face gear, and after seeing this jacket it will be a long time before I buy anything else from them. Just sayin'....

Very nice jacket.Just tried it on.Perfect fit,super quality! I would not buy anything else from TNF but summit series products! This jacket seems to be very warm,high loft...I really like it! I disagree with that person!!

I would have to disagree about this being thin and cheesy. I saw this jacket at a local retailer and it is same quality as other TNF. This is much loftier than the thunder jacket but a lower fill power. This person may be disgruntle or just a competitor bash, not sure. Worth looking into but I would choose the thunder down jacket over this one because of Pertex shell and 800 fill on the thunder.
