Don't want to find replace every years

Mid-2010, I had send my Victor watch to service center for repairing my LCD screen. They had exchanged my strip to their new type(soft). I thought that it should be ok. After 8 months of normal use. It broke in half. Then I search for replacement and notice most of the shop so called original strip. It is the same one I got last time. It cannot last long.
Completely different to the one when I purchase. The original one, first and second strip replacement I have, it can last more then 3 years. After the service repair and repaire center exchange my third replacement strip. The fourth one failure to meet the quaility. How can I get the original strip back or the old one (hard strip)
Can you tell me where I can I get?
