Awesome Pant!!!

By Ranked #91 - Women's Pants November 12, 2011

I am always looking for rugged outdoor pants since I spend a lot of my free time in the CO mountains. Snagged these on SAC..normally I do not bother trying pants sized S-M-L being that I have enough trouble finding pants that fit. Since it was a good deal and I've found Stoic to be a really high-quality brand, I ordered a pair to try them out.

They're fantastic! First of all, the quality and construction is absolutely top-notch. I have not actually worn them on a hike/climb/ski yet, so I'll update when that happens, but based on the detail and construction I'm expecting a great performance. I love how they placed the zippered pockets out of the way on the sides and back, and the bomber fabric reinforcements down at the boot level.

Second, or maybe it should be first - they fit perfectly! I have an athletic build so the thigh/hip/waist ratio is always a problem (you know what I'm talking about)...not with these. I'm 5'9" and 145, normally a size 6-8 and a bit short-waisted. The M fits snug in all the right places, especially the WAIST (they are somewhat low-rise) and they are the perfect length for taller girls. The people who designed these know whassup with the ladies, I'd say.

In my experience with soft shell pants, you have to keep in mind that they will stretch out as you wear them, especially if they get damp...so when you try them on you may want them to be a little snug to start.

Ida paid full price for these...but watch for them on SAC. Happy trails! :D
